Did you know relaxer creams originated from dangerous LYE causing severe burns? What about the hot comb, a burning hot comb put into FIRE used to straighten hair? Horrified yet? Lace front wigs, popular today, leave BALD patches. Beyond hair: Bleaching, surgeries, permanently changing eye-color show it’s less the act than our DESPERATION to assimilate that puts us in danger in so many ways.
